Wanted: Nanny
Every morning before my part-time work starts at 2:00p.m. comes all the hope and prayer that my part-time yaya (nanny) will text me and say, “yes, I am coming this afternoon at 4:00p.m.” Our schedule is on a day to day basis since she also has other obligations at her own home as mom and a wife too. But when either my hubby or my mother-in-law wants to look after or be with my children, the part-time nanny does not need to go to our house.
An unstable situation such as ours with my part-time nanny needs to be fixed. Lately, we have been asking family and friends and even using the internet (through Facebook, Friendster etc) to let others know we are in search of a full-time nanny.
However, by next week if nothing has happened yet we will be compelled to call the nanny who nannied my hubby when they were still very little. She is someone we really like because she is very masipag (diligent) and very trustworthy person. She has worked with us before but she had to go to her province to attend the Fiesta. Since then, she had not come back because we haven’t called her or fetched her.
She is the kind of nanny we always wanted it’s just that we needed her commitment especially when she needs to take an off from her labors, sometimes the day-off lasts until she is fetched from her place. =)
