@ Chef’s Quarter

Are you looking for a quality fine dining at a very reasonable cost? It’s here at Chef’s Quarter.

Recently, our (couple) bonding moment is eating out after our OB-Gyne Day. - Sept. 5, 2009

For last Saturday’s visit, we had our sumptuous dinner at Chef’s Quarter

which is located at The Atrium of SM Megamall (second level).

It is a restaurant and wine bar that offers continental (international) food

that are truly delectable to the taste.

It has the elegance of fine dining within a mall.

It is neat and classy.   The service is good.  Better try it!

For wine lovers,

it is a good place to stop and have a drink

alone or with family and friends while at the mall.

The buffet meal that we had is at PhP550.00 for each and it is just so right.

From appetizers, salads, main course, roasted beef and pork, pastas, deserts. It’s all there.

We had our rounds of plates and here they are.  Sorry, I just can’t remember some of the names.

Your choice of pasta and sauce.  It is well-presented and it will be delivered to your table.

I didn’t want to miss any up to the dessert.  It’s just so mouth watering.

We gladly and voluntarily finished our food.

There is no reason for leaving leftovers.

@ Bigby’s Cafe and Restaurant

Going to The Atrium of SM Megamall is one of the newest place for food trippers.

Bigby’s Cafe and Restaurant is one that you would mostly like want to try.

It’s like ordering the best from American, Italian, Chinese etc.

Filling our stomachs Just before baby shopping.

Food attendants’ famous line at Bigby’s is:

“the food is single-served but it may be for sharing”

That really caught us knowing

how Chris always wants to get more to fill him up.

Getting a taste of it….

It is really BIG at BIGBY’S

Here’s what we ordered:

Grilled Chicken Carbonara

Grilled chicken on top of the carbonara with a bread.

Manhattan Burger.

Hubby liked the Home-style Fries.

Tapa Bai.

It’s a spicy kind of a beef steak

with shoestring (potato) on top.  Served with rice.

Customer service was also great! They were fast and friendly.

The price is just right but the quality is there!

For the two of us, it was only around 600pesos plus.

The more it becomes yum,yum,yum..deliciosoo!!!

A place for couples, family and for peers. They accept reservations too.

Go try it!

@ ClawDaddy

July 15, 2009 By: jill Category: Dining Out 2 Comments →

July 12, 2009. Chris and I were invited for a simple but special birthday dinner treat of Heman @ ClawDaddy at The Ledge in 6th level, Shangri La Mall Edsa. It was just us and another of their college friend, Stephen.

I have learned that in most Chinese occasions a crab should always be a part of the menu. I guess that’s true coming from Chris’ two Chinese friends. **wink**

Was I ready to eat a crab in public? I haven’t eaten crabs for years and not even in a public place…and in front of Chris’ two friends. @ ClawDaddy. (Click to Link)

Good conversations. Good food. It was a feast for the four of us.

No matter how conscious I was the crabs were too inviting to be cracked and tasted.

No regrets!!! I joined the club, washed my hands, get a hold of the crab cracker and enjoyed the night. *burp!*

The food was a great deal!!! Very mouthwatering!!! Good service!!! The table though had been overloaded with our orders. We ordered their house specialties such as the Creole Crispy Shrimp, Boston Clam Chowder (soup), Szechuan Crab, Butter Ginger Crab and Smoked Baby Back Ribs.

It was a bit pricey though!

Thanks Heman for your birthday treat! : )

Another interesting part. Claudine (Baretto) was there!

She was with maybe her non-showbiz friends. It was intriguing to know how she would eat a crab in public. Unfortunately, her table was behind me so I wasn’t able to get a peek of how she does it t or may be she really didn’t eat a crab at all coz….

She had no big yellow ClawDaddy bib hanging around her neck just like us!
