This is a friend’s dream house came true.  It now gives me inspiration.

17 months in the making, isn’t it amazing?

This Mediterranean-inspired house has everything that would keep the family together.  It has a living, dining, family and music room, library, study room, swimming pool, view deck, a cascading falls inside and outside the house and many more.

But what inspires me actually is not because of all the features of this house or all that she had done for this (such as the research and development, design, interiors and landscaping) for their wonderfully built-edifice.

For me, it’s all about the story behind it.

They had their humble beginnings just like anyone else.  They had their own trials as family and even before they started their own family.  The couples managed it despite the distance of the husband from time to time.

Yet, she remained to be a loving wife and an all-time mom to her two young boys.  The boys are being raised in the church that centers in Christ’s teachings.

The story behind it inspires me that anything can be possible as long as we believe in ourselves and trust in the Lord that He will give us whatever we deserve.

On the contrary, I, or some of us, may not have a house as big and as lucrative as my friend’s dream house but the joy we feel within our families and the truth that guides us are enough to make our dreams come true.

Yes, dreams do come true.  Just be on the right track!  It may be up to us where we want our mansion to be, it may be here on earth or hereafter.

After watching the movie at the SM Megamall’s Movie Promo, we dropped by at Cabalen’s to visit our friend from Church who works there. We were chitchatting just outside the restaurant about many things including the Movie Promo that we just had, as if promoting it.

While chitchatting, my eyes were partly looking at their seated guests until I had to look twice at someone I think I know. She did the same too. We waved at each other and she stood up to come near us. She was my high school batch from Adamson University. I just can’t remember if we became classmates. It was nice meeting her personally after so many years since high school. She was with her fiance and future in-laws.

Although social networking keeps us close to persons we haven’t seen for the longest time, nothing beats in seeing an old friend in person, physically. The smiles, the giggles and the face and eye expressions are very loud and crisp.

By the way, I am talking about Alice Capistrano who will tie the knot for good this December. I am happy for her!

For Php15.00 per head, my hubby and I went on a movie date last Saturday(June 20) at SM Megamall Cinema 12. It’s incredibly surprising when most consumer buys are really skyrocketing! Actually, it was only Php10.00 but another 5 was added for the tax. The price was very cheap but the movie wasn’t that bad at all. The movie theater was not even loaded. We liked the movie. It was a Brendan Fraser movie entitled “The Journey To The Center Of The Earth” which was said to have been shown just last month, as far as we know.

SM’s movie promo started June 17 but will only be until the 23rd of the same month. If anything comes out again like this, why not?

CONGRATULATIONS to Patricia Marie Tumulak for winning in the Miss Philippines 2009 - Fire and for becoming the Miss Science and Technology.

She is a 21 year old lovely sweet lady from Quezon City who is commonly known by her family, friends and classmates as PATTY!  I don’t know  what is with her but her beauty truly radiates.  Her long hair is her gem.  The shape of her face is really capturing.

Aside from the physical features that this pretty lass has, I recall how comical she can become.  She can liven the boring class with her funny ways. But most of all, she has this fighting spirit that has kept her standing still.  She may have tried and lost from the past but she believed in herself! More than the looks, she’s got the will and confidence to move on.

We are your proud classmates, Patty!

Though most of us weren’t able to watch her beauty and grace of her catwalk during the pageant, we definitely know how she gave her best shot…and she just made it!
